CNC - concept Proteo
The CNCs from Proteo Series were designed for the small and medium systems with up to 8 controlled
axes and up to 256 inputs/outputs per CPU. Applications more sophisticated and with more than 8 axes may be accomplished
using more than one Proteo CPU synchronized through high speed network. In multi-cpu mode, Proteo CNC can be expanded up
to 512 input/output points.
Proteo uses two 32bit CPU working in parallel to ensure more precision and processing speed and
simultaneously handling window graphic screens and network communications.

The Ethernet and CAN network interfaces have an important role to play in multi-CPU distributed
configuration, where the modules can work synchronized in complex machines or in medium / small application
where electrical wiring can make a big difference in the total cost.
TCP/IP network and internet protocol is standard making possible the access to
data for monitoring and process control. Remote maintenance and system integration are the immediate
possibilities of these new features. Host computers and process control units can be easily connected
to Proteo locally or through Internet.

- Integrated Programmable Logic Control ( PLC).
